Finding myself again

Somewhere between trying to be a good daughter, a good wife, a good daughter-in-law, and a good mother… I slowly forgot who I was. Life became about responsibilities, expectations, and doing what was needed every day. I gave my time, my energy, and my attention to everyone around me, often without realizing that I had stopped giving any of it to myself. There was a time when I had dreams, ideas, and curiosity about what I wanted to do with my life. But over the years, those thoughts became quieter as I focused on fulfilling the roles that life had given me. Until one day, I started writing. Blogging became a small space where I could express my thoughts honestly — not as someone’s daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, or mother — but simply as myself. Through writing, I realized something important: there are so many women who feel exactly the same way. Women who have spent years caring for everyone else, yet quietly wondering who they are beyond their responsibilities. I started blogging to motivate those women, but in the process, I realized something unexpected. I was also trying to find myself again. This journey is not quick or easy. Discovering what you truly want from life after years of living for others takes time, patience, and courage. But I believe it is possible. I am still learning. Still exploring. Still asking myself what truly makes me happy. It is a long process, but I know that somewhere along this journey, I will discover what I really want to do in life. And maybe, while finding my own path, I can help other women find theirs too. 💛
