She does everything but it’s never enough

She wakes up before everyone. Before the noise. Before the demands. Before the world starts needing her. She makes breakfast. Packs lunches. Finds missing socks. Signs school forms. Remembers birthdays. Plans meals. Cleans the kitchen — again. Answers messages. Listens to problems. Solves issues no one even knows exist. She carries the mental load quietly. And still… it’s not enough. Someone notices what she didn’t do. Someone points out what she forgot. Someone compares her to another woman — “She manages better.” “She doesn’t complain.” “She looks more put together.” And suddenly, everything she did becomes invisible.
