Taking life one day at a time
I realized something today.
All this time that I’ve been trying to reconnect with myself, something slowly started to shift. I feel like I’m beginning to find a small sense of direction. Not a clear path, not a final destination — just a quiet feeling that I’m moving somewhere closer to myself.
Of course, I still don’t know exactly where I’m going. But there’s an urge growing inside me — an urge to do something for myself. To become the best version of who I can be. To prove to myself that I am not worthless, and that the self-doubt that once crept into my mind doesn’t have to stay there forever.
I want that voice of doubt to slowly disappear.
I want to live more freely in the small moments of life. When I go shopping, I want to simply buy something I like without questioning myself a hundred times about whether I should or shouldn’t. When I go for a walk, I don’t want to rush back home just because it’s getting late. Let it be late. Let the moment exist.
I just want to be.
Lately, I’ve been spending more time with myself, especially in nature, something I spoke about in my previous blog. Those walks have become more meaningful to me than I ever expected. Sometimes I walk without a destination, just letting the quiet of nature surround me. The air feels lighter, my mind slows down, and for a little while everything feels peaceful.
After those walks, I often sit with a cup of tea and just allow myself to be present in the moment. Sometimes I write — my thoughts, my feelings, the questions that come to my mind. Writing has slowly started to feel like a conversation with myself.
And maybe that’s part of this journey.
Rediscovering myself.
It isn’t always easy. Some days still feel confusing, and there are moments when I wonder where all of this is leading me. But deep down, I believe I will figure it out someday.
Maybe blogging my thoughts and experiences will become part of my direction. Maybe it will help me understand myself better. I don’t know yet, and for the first time, I’m trying to be okay with not knowing.
I don’t want to rush the process.
I just want to take life one day at a time.
For now, I’m working in real estate, doing what I can and moving forward with life. But somewhere inside me, I know there is something more I want to discover about myself and what I truly want to accomplish in this life.
I want to live life on my own terms. To be my own boss in the way I shape my life, rather than simply fitting into roles or expectations created by others.
I want to do what makes me feel alive.
What brings me peace.
What makes me feel like the best version of myself.
This journey is about me now.
And maybe everyone reaches a moment like this at some point in their life — a moment where they pause, look within, and start asking deeper questions about who they are and what truly matters.
It’s never too late to figure yourself out.
Maybe this is simply my time.
