Why I write
Writing does something to me that nothing else does.
When my thoughts stay inside my head, they feel heavy. Sometimes confusing. Sometimes overwhelming. But the moment I begin writing them down, something changes.
I feel lighter.
It is almost as if the words carry a part of the weight away. What once felt tangled inside my mind slowly begins to make sense on paper.
Writing gives my thoughts a place to live outside of me.
But more than that, it gives them meaning.
Because deep inside, I feel that the things we experience in life — the confusion, the searching, the quiet struggles — are not meant to stay hidden. Someone else, somewhere in the world, might be feeling exactly the same way.
Maybe they also feel lost.Maybe they also question themselves.Maybe they also wonder if anyone understands.
And if my words can reach even one person and make them feel understood, then my thoughts have served a purpose.
Writing makes me feel light. It makes me feel honest. And most importantly, it makes me feel connected.
Maybe that is why I write.
