Becoming the Woman I Needed — Finding My Way Back to Myself

Lately, like I’ve been saying… there’s a calmness in me. A mellowed version of myself that I don’t fully understand, but I feel it. And within this calm… something unexpected is happening. I’m finding my inner child again. Doing the simplest things — swinging, jumping, laughing for no reason, going back to moments that once felt so natural… And somehow… that is bringing me peace. A kind of peace that feels pure. Untouched. Real. It’s strange how reconnecting with yourself sometimes means going back to who you were before the world shaped you. Before responsibilities. Before expectations. Before overthinking everything. And maybe that’s what I’m doing right now. Coming back to me. Because when you feel lost… but you’re still moving… reconnecting with yourself becomes the most important thing you can do. I’m still not fully clear. I still feel scared sometimes. Clueless. Overwhelmed. But I also feel something else now — Faith. A quiet belief that God is guiding me through each day. That every feeling, every phase, every shift… is leading me somewhere I’m meant to be. And slowly… I feel it. Like I’m getting closer. Not in a way I can explain, but in a way I can feel. This path of finding myself… I know it’s changing me. It’s making me stronger. More confident. More aware. More willing to choose myself without feeling guilty. And for the first time… I’m not rushing this. I’m not chasing answers. I’m not forcing clarity. I’m just living it. Feeling it. Allowing it. Whatever this phase is… I’m actually enjoying it. Because something inside me is different now. In a way I can’t put into words… but I know it’s real. And maybe… this is what becoming feels like.
