Becoming the Woman I Needed — Healing With Faith, Even When the Path Is Unclear

Lately, I’ve been in a very different space. Not lost the way I used to feel before… but not fully clear either. Somewhere in between. The direction is still uncertain. I still don’t know exactly what I want for myself. But something has shifted. Things feel like they are moving… slowly, quietly… but in the right way. There is this calm in my heart now. A stillness that I didn’t have before. I’m not chasing things the same way. The things I used to like… I don’t feel as attached to them anymore. There is a more mellow version of me emerging. And for the first time… I’m not questioning it. It feels like this phase is necessary. Like this healing was meant for me. I’m still doing everything I’m supposed to do. My responsibilities, my roles, what is expected of me… But somewhere, I’ve also taken a step back. Not in a careless way… but in a way where I’m no longer losing myself in everything. Like I said before — I’m in that “don’t care” phase. But it’s not about not caring at all… It’s about not forcing things anymore. It’s about allowing life to move… and moving with it. Because sometimes… when you stop chasing, stop controlling, stop trying to figure everything out… things just begin to flow. And maybe that’s the biggest healing of all. I’m still confused. Still clueless at times. But I have this faith now… that God will guide me to where I’m meant to be. That I don’t have to rush to find it. That what is meant for me will come to me — at the right time. So I keep moving. Healing. Listening to my heart. Going with the flow. And I want to ask you something… Have you ever felt this way? Like you don’t feel completely lost… but you also don’t feel fully found? Like you can’t clearly see your future… but you’re still moving forward anyway? Because that’s where I am. And maybe… that’s not a bad place to be. Because healing starts with you. For so long, I did what I was asked to do. What was expected of me. What felt necessary for everyone else. But now… I’m slowly learning the difference. Doing what is required… and doing what feels right for me. Helping, caring, fulfilling responsibilities — yes, that will always be there. But losing myself in the process… that’s what I’m trying to change. If I don’t feel like doing something… maybe it’s okay to pause. If something can wait… maybe it doesn’t have to be done right now. It’s my life. And I’m allowed to live it in a way that feels true to me. I’m still learning this. It’s not easy. When you’ve lived a certain way for so long… changing feels uncomfortable. But it’s not impossible. Because I believe… God is guiding me through this too. Leading me, step by step, towards the path that is truly mine. And I hold onto this one thought — What is meant for me will eventually come to me. My path. My purpose. My peace. Until then… I will keep reconnecting with myself. Keep listening to my heart. Keep choosing what feels right. Because somewhere in this stillness… I know I’m becoming someone I was always meant to be.
