Becoming the Woman I Needed — I Am Learning What Deserves My Energy ๐ŸŒฟ

Lately, I’ve realised something very deeply — sometimes it’s not really about you. Some people carry their own frustrations, insecurities, stress, or anger and slowly start projecting it onto you. For years I kept thinking: “What did I do wrong?” “Why does everything become a problem?” “Why am I constantly questioned or criticized?” But now… I’m slowly understanding that not everything people say about you is actually about you. Yesterday we were watching something on TV where girls were gossiping. Suddenly my husband said: “This is exactly what you do.” And I remember feeling hurt because… why bring me into something random we are watching? Why make me feel judged for no reason? Earlier I would overexplain myself. Try to prove I wasn’t like that. But now I simply realise — people often say things based on their own thinking, not reality. And honestly… if I truly felt emotionally safe, understood, and not judged all the time, maybe I would share more openly too. But experience teaches you things. Sometimes you learn that not everything needs to be explained. Not every thought needs to be shared. Because unfortunately, some people remember your vulnerable moments only to use them against you later. So now… I’ve started becoming quieter. Not because I have nothing to say. But because peace feels better than constantly defending yourself. I’ve also realised something after 15 years of marriage — your emotional strength has to come from within yourself. People naturally stand by their own families, their own comfort, their own perspective. And maybe expecting everyone to fully understand you all the time only creates more hurt. That’s why now I simply choose to focus on myself, my peace, and the people who bring calmness into my life. The people who: * listen without judging, * support without criticizing, * and make you feel emotionally safe instead of emotionally small. Because conversations should feel comforting, not exhausting. I no longer want to carry the pressure of making everyone understand me. People will think what they want anyway. So now… I choose differently. I choose myself. My peace. My energy. My calmness. I no longer want to react to every comment, every opinion, every unnecessary remark. Some battles are simply not worth my peace anymore. And through all of this… my faith in God keeps giving me strength. Strength to stay calm. Strength to protect my heart. Strength to slowly become the woman I was always meant to be. So now… I let people think whatever they want. And I quietly continue becoming myself again ๐ŸŒฟ
